DAC International INC Receives CMA 6800 Display Supplemental Type Certificate for the S76B/C Helicopter 

AUSTIN, Texas, January 3, 2017
DAC INTERNATIONAL INC. (DAC), a subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings LP, announced today that it has received a Supplemental Type Certificate for the Esterline CMA-6800 Display for the Sikorsky S76B/C Helicopter. The STC includes the S76C+ and S76C++ models.

“The product provides many benefits as a form fit function replacement for the Honeywell ED-800 product line.” said DAC International’s President Cisco Hernandez. “We believe the CMA-6800 offers our customers a simple replacement solution for the aging ED-800’s on many of the S76 platforms worldwide. This will save substantial weight thus reducing operating costs and further extending the life of their existing cockpits.”

The CMA-6800 Electronic Display System was designed to replace the aging Honeywell ED-800 Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) displays.

DAC expects to have EASA and ANAC approvals very shortly.
