CDB Aviation Selects FLYdocs for Fleet Records Management

Global Aircraft Leasing Company to Deliver Increased Client Value through Streamlined Digital Operations

Staffordshire, UK – 17th July 2018 – FLYdocs, the aviation data and records management software provider and global industry leader in managing the lease transfer of aircraft and assets, today announced that CDB Aviation Lease Finance DAC (“CDB Aviation”), a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Limited, has selected FLYdocs to provide the software and technical services to manage its commercial fleet.

Following a comprehensive RFP process late in 2017, the FLYdocs platform was selected to underpin and streamline CDB Aviation’s asset management function, along with supporting technical services from FLYdocs’ aviation experts to assist in the data migration and records build for an initial 100 aircraft. The complete fleet will eventually be managed within the platform, with the first fully digital aircraft transition enabled by the FLYdocs platform due in Autumn 2018.

“We are committed to building best-in-class asset management operations which deliver increased value both internally and externally,”
commented CDB Aviation Head of Asset Management Justin Goatcher. “FLYdocs supports our approach, and the platform’s superior functionality will provide us ease of use and multi-user web access to technical aircraft records from anywhere in the world.”

John Bowell, FLYdocs’ Director of Global Sales, commented: “Having such a prestigious marque brand as CDB Aviation as a client is testament to our continued investment in developing the industry’s best asset management and aircraft trading platform. We are delighted to be working alongside the CDB Aviation team, and helping them to enjoy the full benefits of paperless aircraft transitions.”
