Starting its services in the early 1970s, ADAC Heliservice (formerly ADAC Luftfahrt Technik) has half a century of experience in helicopters and components maintenance and service. ASQS is very pleased to welcome the 20th independent maintenance organisation that chooses IQSMS as their safety and compliance monitoring software.

Headquartered in Bonn-Hangelar and with two further branches in Landshut and Halle-Oppin, ADAC Heliservice provides service and professional expertise to keep customers helicopters ready-to-operate.

With a fleet of more than 50 helicopters in 37 stations, ADAC Luftrettung is one of the largest Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) operators in Europe, for whose maintenance and service ADAC Heliservice is responsible.

Over 180 employees ensure the highest standards of safety for patients and crew and contribute significantly to the growing experience which attracts clients worldwide.

Amongst ADAC Luftrettung and ANWB Medical Air Assistance in the Netherlands a large number of operators from several police helicopter-squadrons trust the high-quality service and reliability of ADAC Heliservice.

As an approved maintenance organisation according to EASA Part 145, CAMO according to EASA Part-CAMO and design organisation according to EASA Part 21J, ADAC Heliservice offers not only the maintenance of helicopters of the types Airbus Helicopters H135 and H145 and their components, but also numerous other services such as major and minor modifications or the sale of helicopters.

Their overall experience in line and base maintenance and CAMO are also available for third-party clients.

ADAC Heliservice’s customers sometimes carry out emergency and rescue flights with highly sensitive patients in difficult areas or terrain, which is why safety is one of the core values. We are more than thrilled to support such an experienced company when it comes to safety issues, in doing the utmost to keep customer´s helicopters safe and to further contribute to a solid safety culture across all levels of the company.

The IQSMS Quality-, Reporting- and Risk Management Modules, as well as the Reporting- and Auditor App, will help ADAC Heliservice in staying compliant with national and international regulations and standards, and to properly manage upcoming changes or identify high risks within the organisation. This systematic step will guarantee the company’s goal to ensure the highest standards of safety for patients and crew.

“The user-friendly interface and the interacting modules of IQSMS provide us with numerous important functionalities and also make it much easier for all our employees to apply the Safety and Compliance Monitoring Management processes.

From the very beginning we have enjoyed a trustful and supportive partnership with the experts at ASQS, which we look forward to continuing in future!

Instead of spending a lot of time on administrative tasks, thanks to IQSMS we have the time to focus on the really important work with our approximately 180 colleagues – the safety of our customers and their helicopters!”

Bastian Marx – Safety Manager

“The straightforward implementation with a very experienced safety and quality manager, gave us a deep insight on the organizational structure and the needs of the company, thus providing us information on how IQSMS is used. The use of our web-based Safety Management System will enable the company to move from paper-based audits to a complete digital process, which will foster the company’s reporting culture, enhance their safety performance and improve their quality assurance.” – Mareike Meyer, Project Manager at ASQS.

ASQS looks forward to a long and fruitful cooperation and is very much delighted to support its new customer with its experience in the field of integrated safety and quality management.
