Swiss-AS AMOSmobile

January 2016 – A dedicated AMOSmobile core team focuses on the development of the Swiss-AS mobile solution. The development method is agile, feature focused and customer driven to produce within short development cycles valuable functioning software for the benefit of the end-users.

At the end of 2014, we invited customers for a workshop in Basel to define the functional scope of the first AMOSmobile suite which will cover maintenance execution processes. This resulted in the launch of the AMOSmobile module “EXEC” (which stands for execution) in November 2015 at the AMOS Customer Conference in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Convinced that a close cooperation with members of the AMOS community can only be beneficial for the application, we decided to offer the AMOSmobile/EXEC module at an incentive price to a limited number of customers who are ready to extensively test this mobile solution and help Swiss-AS to complete and fine-tune the first AMOSmobile module.

We are happy and proud to reveal that Pegasus Airlines and UTair decided to support us in this process. Both parties will be heavily involved in the future development of AMOSmobile/EXEC.

Pegasus Airlines is a Turkish low-cost airline based at the Sibuha Gökçen airport in Istanbul that operates a fleet of 57 aircraft. UTair is a Russian airline with its head office at Khanty-Mansiysk Airport, operating scheduled domestic and international passenger services,

With the in-the field experience of these two customers, Swiss-AS is confident to soon complete AMOSmobile/EXEC.

AMOSmobile roadmap
The AMOSmobile development team, after having incorporated the outcome of the workshop, currently continues to add new functions to the mobile suite including more Workorder features, Store features, Workpackage functionalities, Structural Damage functions and other miscellaneous topics (approval control, audits, report, etc.).
