Toulouse, 13 February 2014 – ifrSKEYES is delighted to announce that Lao Airlines and their partner CIT Lao have selected AMASIS with the long-term objective of optimizing its airworthiness and MRO processes.

Lao Airlines is the national air carrier of Laos. The company operates domestic and international flights to 20 destinations. Its fleet is currently composed of 13 aircraft (Airbus A320, ATR-72 and Xian MA60 models).

Lao Airlines was looking for a reliable solution to replace its legacy system and to ensure the maintenance of its fleets according to the corporate long-term strategy. The company opted for the latest version of AMASIS – AMASIS V9.20 – and decided to implement it on-site with a brand new dedicated server.

The go-live is carried out in 2 phases, adapting to Lao Airlines’ organisation, and the final go-live is scheduled for January 2014. Lao Airlines with CIT Lao have been able to transfer the maintenance of its entire fleet with AMASIS less than 3 months after the license transfer/software decision. This represented a real challenge for all involved.
