Shannon Ireland. September, 2011 // After a long and precise tender process Volartec proudly announce that Enter Air have selected Alkym®Management and Control System for Aircraft Maintenance to look after the Technical Management of the expanding B737 fleet. Enter Air began to look towards finding a suitable software at the beginning of 2011. They understood the type of integrated system they required. High on the priority was finding a supplier that also had the same understanding.

The 5 week on-site implementation project will begin in Warsaw at the end of September with the preparatory work already under way. Enter Air will begin with a 10 concurrent user licence with an option to grow to 15 in a very short time frame. The selected modules that they will start with include Planning, Engineering, Maintenance Control, Reliability, Inventory, Purchasing & Repairs, Receiving & Shipping, M-Transfer and M-Files.  In time they know that there are other modules they can add seamlessly as their operation requires.

Board Member and Maintenance Director at Enter Air Mariusz Olechnoallowed his team do a comprehensive survey of the market to ensure he was presented with the best available options for his operation. Mariusz says “What Alkym and Volartec did was highlighted that working inside any industry it is essential to offer value for money over your competitors whilst never compromising on the product you offer. At Enter Air that is our philosophy and in Volartec we have a partner that we feel can bring us exactly what we want at a price that we were willing to pay. When we were in a position to move Volartec showed great flexibility to ensure the project fitted to our schedule.”

The tender process ensured that Enter Air was getting a full function software that can meet their current needs whilst also having the ability to meet their needs long into the future. On this process John Barry, VP Business Development with Volartec was happy to say “We are constantly ensuring our functionality is a match for our competitorsAlkym has been on the market for almost 10 years now. It is from such a strong base we have managed to expand so quickly outside of our original base in Latin America. It amazes me that we have the European Office open only since June 2010 and yet this is our 8th Airline that has selected Alkym.   What really surprises most of our potential clients is just how much we offer at a fraction of the cost of those competitors. The value for money is simply unbeatable.”

Enter Air based at Warsaw Poland was created in November 2009 and began operations the following April. With an innovative business model, well-thought-out strategy as well as the team’s experience Enter Air has taken the leading position on the Polish charter market. They currently operate a fleet of 8 B737 aircraft with plans to expand that fleet over the coming winter season.
