We are extremely proud to announce that Air Canada has selected our Smart LOAD state-of-the-art weight and balance solution to help them achieve their load planning vision.

Smart LOAD is a web-based, visual aircraft weight and balance system designed for airlines of all sizes. Being integrated with various data sources such as flight data, crew data and load information, Smart LOAD can support and monitor the whole load planning process.

It is an extremely powerful yet simple to use solution, supporting both centralized and de-centralized airline load control models. The system perfectly combines the needs of airport ground operations departments and handling companies working in a multi-customer environment and with multi-role capability, including dispatch, load agent, freight, ramp agent, cockpit, engineer, etc.

While optimising, Smart LOAD considers cargo compatibilities, dangerous goods limitations and handling, company loading priorities, MEL/CDL (Minimum Equipment List /Common Data Link) limits, special passenger handling conditions, and the most fuel efficient centre of gravity, ensuring that the best operational and most economical loading solution is used.

Smart LOAD is tightly integrated with Smart COMM application, which itself represents a major advance in streamlining and improving airline communication processes. Thanks to the combined capabilities of these two solutions, loading restrictions, irregularity handling, and direct communication need no longer pose challenges to any airline.

Looking for a solution that could help them optimise the load planning process, Air Canada turned once more to their long-term solutions partners at Smart4Aviation. After Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, Air Canada is our third customer who has decided to put their trust in Smart LOAD system.

Having already implemented Smart COMM application, with Smart LOAD Air Canada will be able to fully automate and optimise the load planning process. We believe that the system will serve them well and will bring benefits in the years to come.

“Air Canada and Smart4Aviation have a history of collaboration and working closely in the development of innovative products and we look forward to continuing this relationship as Air Canada implements Smart Load, a leading edge load planning and decision support solution” – said Lise Fournel, Senior Vice President & CIO, Air Canada Airlines.

“This sales success highlights that Smart4Aviation’s solutions enjoy airlines’ continuing trust with an ever increasing community of airlines understanding and appreciating the value of our applications and systems. To them, we say, thank you! And we will continue to do our best to warrant their trust in our solutions” – said Dirk-Jan Baas, CEO, Smart4Aviation.
