AerData Achieves ISAE 3402 Type II Accreditation

Amsterdam, The Netherlands; 30th September 2014 – AerData, the provider of lease management, records management and engine fleet planning software announced today that it has been awarded the prestigious ISAE 3402 Type II Accreditation.

ISAE 3402 is the new International Standard on Assurance Engagements which has effectively replaced the aged SAS70 standard. It is a widely recognized directive because it represents that a service organization has undergone an in-depth audit of their internal controls in accordance with the International Standard on Assurance Engagements 3402 ‘Assurance Reports on Controls at a Service Organization’ issued by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB), which is part of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).

ISAE 3402 was developed to provide an international assurance standard for allowing public accountants to issue a report for use by user organizations and their auditors (user auditors) on the controls at a service organization that are likely to impact or be a part of the user organization’s system of internal control over financial reporting.

Commenting on the announcement, Mark Nieuwendijk, Managing Director of AerData, said “The certification of compliance with ISAE 3402 Type II recognizes that the policies, practices and procedures of our company ensure consistent quality in the products and services we provide to our customers. AerData have worked extremely hard on gaining accreditation through ISAE. Achieving this new benchmark validates our unwavering and continued commitment to the highest of industry standards and best practices.”
