  • Deal will lower operating costs through a simplified supply chain and improved product performance

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — UTC Aerospace Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), today announced that it has been selected by GKN Aerospace’s Fokker business, to provide an expanded on-site consignment stock support solution at their Schiphol-based facilities over the course of the next decade. The support agreement will help Fokker streamline supply chain operations, increase repair reliability and lower operational cost.
Under the 10-year agreement, UTC Aerospace Systems’ global network will manage the supply chain of UTC electric power systems (EPS) parts, in addition to providing 24/7 technical on-site support (OSS).
