A fuel budget is traditionally created by an individual or a single department using limited data. This results in a coarse view of the factors that affect the budget and an inability to understand where variance occurs in operation. Improving budgeting accuracy is a necessity in today's unstable and financially restricted environment.

Find out how to:
  • Ensure you have consistent, complete and accurate baseline data upon which to base the budget
  • Identify the factors that affect fuel burn and account for them in your budget through the use of modeling techniques
  • Understand the effects of fuel initiatives when setting the budget
  • Translate the budget into departmental specific targets
  • Identify which factors have contributed to budget deltas
  • Improve carbon credit and fuel hedging activities

This 45-minute event is presented by industry experts from Optimized Systems and Solutions (OSyS).

Who should attend/view recording:
Fuel Managers • CFOs • Chief Pilots • Fleet Scheduling Managers • Finance officers • Flight Ops Engineers • IT Managers • Operations Managers
