Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand webinar (recorded 26th April 2018) and discover how SITAONAIR’s ground-based software system, AIRCOM® FlightTracker, provides airlines with 100% global, real-time flight tracking capabilities and minute-by-minute position data, exceeding the ICAO GADSS (Global Aeronautical Distress Safety System) 15-minute recommendation and meeting the 2021 requirements. As you will see AIRCOM® FlightTracker gathers data from multiple global sources, including cutting-edge space-based ADS-B, and fills in any gaps in the air navigation service provider’s (ANSP) tracking.

The Webinar begins with SITAONAIR experts discussing industry trends, including impending ICAO GADSS recommendations, the growing likelihood of severe weather events, increasingly crowded global airspace, and why these factors make reliable flight tracking more important than ever. Next you will find out how AIRCOM® FlightTracker has been developed to meet these challenges, and how airlines can benefit from real-time tracking and alerting for their fleet, while improving the situational awareness this process brings.

Via a live demo, you will be given an in-depth look at how the solution functions, plus the additional features and benefits of AIRCOM® FlightTracker, including the new Flight Route-Alerting module, aircraft agnostic functionality, clear text alerts for flight ops staff, high-resolution ADS-B data and cross-referenced position data. You will see what airlines can expect from future development, and why AIRCOM® FlightTracker is already being used by airlines, of all sizes and fleet types, across the globe on more than 250,000 flights every month.

Finally the SITONAIR experts will show you what makes AIRCOM® FlightTracker unique on the market, the role of the global SITAONAIR team, and about the major international airlines already relying on it to meet global flight tracking requirements.

About the Aircraft IT Webinars:

Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT Operations portal hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor.  These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.

The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines & Operators.  Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration.  There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.

Each Webinar session is recorded and posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues.  The library of past Webinar recordings provide an invaluable reference source of Flight Operations software demonstrations from the World's leading Operations IT Vendors.
