Mxi Technologies Announces Appointment of Robin Wohnsigl and Claude Haw to Board of Directors

Ottawa, Canada (September 20, 2011) – Mxi® Technologies, the leader in aviation maintenance management software, announced today the appointment of Claude Haw and Robin Wohnsigl to the company’s Board of Directors. Both industry and market veterans, Mr. Wohnsigl and Mr. Haw bring a wealth strategic experience to the Mxi board having previously worked with leading organizations in the fields of aviation and technology.

Mr. Wohnsigl brings to the board significant and notable experience in the commercial and military aviation arenas. Prior to his current role as Founder and Consultant with RW Aviation Advisors, LLC, Mr. Wohnsigl served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Airbus North America Customer Services, as Internal Consultant with Virgin USA (now Virgin America), and as President of Air Canada Technical Services. His broad experience in the field of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) also includes roles in the maintenance, engineering, and operations areas of US Airways and Northwest Airlines. Mr. Wohnsigl retired as Colonel from the U.S. Air Force in 1988.

With more than 30 years of experience through technical, general management, and venture investing roles in the technology sector, Mr. Haw joins the Mxi Technologies’ Board of Directors with an expansive background in building strong, globally-oriented companies. His vast experience includes active involvement from start-up to acquisition and IPO with more than 30 technology companies over the past two decades. Mr. Haw is a founder of Mindtrust and The Ottawa Network, both of which are focused on enabling current and future-generations of Ottawa-based technology companies, and past board member of the Canadian Venture Capital Association. Prior to joining the Mxi Board, Mr. Haw was President and CEO at OCRI, Ottawa’s leading economic development agency, and Managing Partner at Venture Coaches, a venture capital firm.

“The depth and breadth of experience now present within the Mxi Board of Directors is unparalleled among our industry and our competitors,” says Dave Seibel, Chairman and CEO, Mxi Technologies. “Claude and Robin are an excellent complement to our existing board members and between them bring an immeasurable wealth of experience that will serve Mxi well as we further position for growth.”
