Faasa Aviation signs with Rusada

Rusada, one of the world’s leading MRO IT software specialists, are delighted to announce that Faasa Aviation have signed a contract for the implementation and usage of their Envision system.

Based outside the picturesque city of Cordoba in southern Spain, Faasa Aviation operate a fleet of over75 fixed and rotary wing aircraft (mostly AW119 and Bell Helicopters) that are used primarily for fire-fighting purposes. During the summer months they are used in Spain and southern Europe, while during the winter months they are shipped to Chile and used within their Chilean subsidiary for the same purposes. Envision will be used to manage all aspects of maintenance and engineering including CAMO, Part 145 and all material management functions along with Quality and Safety Management.

Speaking on behalf of Faasa Aviation, David Mata, Director of Quality, Security and Systems, said: “After a very thorough pre-sales selection process we were extremely encouraged by the demonstration of the Envision system. This demonstration, along with the confidence shown by the Rusada team in their ability to implement on time, were the deciding factors in us agreeing a contract with Rusada. We are looking forward to being up and running on Envision very soon.”

About Faasa Aviation

Faasa Aviation was founded in 1966 by pilot Sebastián Almagro, under the name, Fumigación Aérea Andaluza, S.A. This family-owned company is located in Palma del Rio, Córdoba.

After forty-five years of experience, Faasa has accumulated a fleet of 75 aircraft working in Chile and Spain. With an area of 3,000 m2, it has the capacity to provide simultaneous maintenance for up to 10 helicopters. This centre is authorised by Agusta as service station. The other part of the facilities fully houses the new corporate building of the company.
