All maintenance activities are now controlled by and with AMOS

Swiss-AS is delighted to announce the go-live of AMOS at Polish MRO service provider LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services (LOTAMS).
Shortly after the spin-off from the Polish national carrier, LOTAMS started the implementation of AMOS as an initiative to modernise its maintenance IT landscape.
“Congratulations to LOTAMS on the recent go-live with AMOS, a milestone to sharpen LOTAMS’ strategy in operating with state-of-the-art business processes and a big gain for the AMOS community,” says Ronald Schaeuffele, CEO of Swiss-AS.

Smooth “big bang” approach
One characteristic of the project was the tight completion deadline linked to the simultaneous and extensive restructuring process within LOTAMS.
The project successfully culminated in a go-live via the “big bang” approach, meaning that all AMOS modules were simultaneously put into operation and from that moment onwards, all activities were controlled by AMOS. The technical staff made immediate use of their acquired AMOS knowledge when the first aircraft completely managed in AMOS arrived from Australia at the LOTAMS premises in Warsaw on the same day as the go-live.
