Southwest Airlines Selects Mxi Technologies for Planning and Scoping Phase of its Maintenance Operations


Leading U.S. operator committed to driving best-in-class business processes across its maintenance operations

2015 MRO AMERICAS – Miami, FL, Booth 3411 (April 14, 2015) – Mxi® Technologies, the leader in aviation maintenance management software, announced today that Southwest Airlines® (NYSE: LUV) has selected Mxi Technologies for a collaborative planning and scoping phase aimed at determining how the Maintenix® solution would be implemented at Southwest.

As the largest U.S. carrier in terms of originating domestic passengers, Southwest maintains the largest fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft in the world, averaging six flights per aircraft per day. Southwest’s continued fleet and network growth requires a maintenance system that can support the fundamental principles of quality, compliance and industry-leading processes for the airline well into the future.
